Ingredients in Jocko GO Energy Drink
Jocko GO contains 10 calories, 1 gram of carbs (0 grams of sugar), zero fats, and zero proteins.
Jocko GO is entirely transparent in the quantities of the ingredients. It’s always best to know what you’re consuming.
I’ll go over each ingredient in detail below.
Vitamin B
- 0.5 mg of Vitamin B6 (18% DV)
- 100 mcg of Vitamin B12 (4,167% DV)
Vitamin B plays a vital role in metabolism, where they help carbs, proteins, and fats convert into energy. Besides turning food into energy, they’re needed in many places inside our bodies to keep our cells functioning properly.
Some examples are:
The vitamins can expand the blood vessels, which increases blood flow, and allows for a better pump while working out. They’re also used to create neurotransmitters: dopamine, serotonin, and GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid).
They’re added to energy drinks because they can increase energy, help the metabolism, reduce fatigue, improve mood, promote healthy skin, etc.
100 mg of Choline (18% DV)
Choline is essential for the optimal functioning of every cell in the body. It can boost muscle recovery, improve muscle performance during exercise and improve stamina.
It’s also used as a nootropic to increase focus during training.
Electrolytes
- 50 mg of Magnesium
- 100 mg of Sodium
- 50 mg of Potassium
Sodium and Potassium are essential minerals that support muscle contractions and nerve function. Sufficient amounts are needed to keep mineral and water balance in check.
Otherwise, you can experience nasty muscle cramps. It can support your workout by increasing blood volume and improving blood flow.
500 mg of Acetyl L-Carnitine
L-Carnitine is an amino acid naturally occurring inside our bodies. It’s needed to turn fat into energy, which is why it’s so prevalent in fat burner supplements.
Higher levels of L-Carnitine may make your body more efficient at burning fat, boost metabolism, and make you more energetic.
The added benefit of “Acetyl” is that this form of L-Carnitine can pass the blood-brain barrier. Acetyl L-Carnitine can promote better focus, alertness, muscle contractions, memory, and sleep in the brain.
“HCL,” or hydrochloric acid, is added so our bodies can absorb and digest the L-Carnitine better. This helps it to be more effective.
95 mg of Caffeine
Caffeine is a natural stimulant primarily found in coffee, tea, and cacao. There isn’t specified which caffeine is used in 3D Energy Drinks.
Caffeine provides energy, alertness, focus, etc.
100 mg of Alpha-GPC
Alpha-Glyceryl Phosphoryl Choline, or Alpha GPC, is mainly used in pre-workouts for increasing mental focus and alertness.
However, it also supports the production of natural human growth hormones and has a role in fat oxidation. It may boost physical performance and muscle force production.
100 mg of Theobromine
Theobromine is an alkaloid that’s extracted from cacao plants. It can expand your blood vessels, which improves blood circulation and helps to transport more nutrients in your muscles.
It may improve cardiovascular and cognitive performance. Together with polyphenols and caffeine, it can have a thermogenic effect, which increases energy expenditure. This could potentially help in weight loss.
95 mg of L-Theanine
L-Theanine helps to regulate the effects of other stimulating ingredients. You feel focused and energetic but not overly stimulated.
It also helps caffeine work longer, so you don’t experience a crash while working out.
L-Theanine also stimulates the production of dopamine and serotonin, so you’ll feel better overall.
50 mg of Bacopa Monnieri
Bacopa Monnieri is a powerful plant used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Like Ashwagandha, this herb is a classified adaptogen that can reduce stress and anxiety.
It’s also suitable for boosting cognitive abilities, and it contains antioxidants. It’s good for overall health and longevity.
A standard dose is around 300 mg.
Flavors of Jocko GO Energy Drink
Jocko GO Energy Drink comes in eight different flavors, with some making you feel as if you’re part of a Navy Seal squad.
Below are the names with actual tastes beside them for convenience:
- Afterburner Orange | Orange
- Citrus Psycho | Lemon & Lime
- Dark Savage | Black Cherry & Vanilla
- Mango Mayhem | Passion Fruit & Mango
- POM’R | Iced Tea & Lemonade
- Sour Apple | Sour Apple
- Tropic Thunder | Pineapple & Coconut
- Watermelon | Watermelon
My go-to Jocko GO flavors are Citrus Psycho and Dark Savage.
However, when making this tough flavor choice, don’t be afraid to ask yourself: “which of these would I rather have to fight beside me?”
Experiences with Jocko GO Energy Drink
The experiences with Jocko GO are overall good but can be better.
Most people enjoy the flavors even though they’re sometimes a little “getting used to.” Some people don’t like the taste, which is expected since everybody’s taste buds are different.
The positives are the clean energy, perfect for busy days or studying. The combination of caffeine with L-Theanine gives a calm sense of energy and focus that gets you dialed in. There’s no crash, side effects, or jittery feeling.
It seems especially good for people who like a lower caffeine intake but still want to feel benefits from an energy drink.
While it’s good as a morning drink, or pick-me-up, it’s not a real substitute for pre-workout.
There’s some criticism that the price isn’t justified, which is higher than competitors.
Jocko GO Energy Drink gets 4,3 out of 5 stars on Amazon.
Price of Jocko GO Energy Drink
Jocko GO Energy Drink is priced at $34.99 for a 12-pack of 12 oz cans on Amazon. This makes the cost per can $2.92.
Most energy drinks I've reviewed are priced between $2.00-$2.50, so Jocko GO comes at a premium.

Is Jocko GO Energy Drink Worth It?
The best way to describe Jocko GO Energy Drinks: it’s like drinking a motivational video that’ll give you the discipline, mental focus, and energy to be productive and get more done.
The caffeine content is lower, but the combination of L-Theanine and other ingredients makes up for it. This is especially great if you’re trying to lower your caffeine intake or like to consume multiple caffeinated drinks per day.
Also, you don’t get a “crash,” “jitters,” or the typical energy drink side effects like anxiety.
In my opinion, this is not strong enough to substitute for pre-workout before a grueling personal record-crushing workout. That said, it’s good enough to power through a cardio session.
I like the flavors, but ultimately that’ll be up to your taste buds. The only downside for me is the price, which is nearly a dollar higher per can than competitors.
If the benefits and lower caffeine content seem great to you, I recommend giving Jocko GO a shot to see if it’ll become your favorite energy drink.
